The JCC Greater Boston is seeking a part-time After School Educator to assist in creating enriching, supportive, and memorable experiences for children enrolled in Discovery Club after school. Discovery Club, located at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC in Newton, is an active and entertaining after-school program for children in grades K-5. This role is great for someone looking to make a difference in the lives of children while being a part of a collaborative, optimistic, and welcoming environment. This position is for the 2024 - 2025 school year and will start towards the end of August.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This position will pay a starting salary in the range of $20- $23/hr. The salary offered will ultimately be determined by the hours the employee will work, the scope of the position, the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity. The hours for this position would be +/—15 hours/week (3:00-6:00 pm, earlier hours offered on Wednesdays, 12:30-6). (Additional weekend shifts are also available.)
