Job Summary KUCHT is seeking an
In-Office Appliance Technician to join our support team. This is
NOT an IT or computer technician role. In this role, you will diagnose and troubleshoot
mechanical and appliance issues via live video calls. We are looking for candidates with
some hands-on experience or interest in appliance repair and handy work . No prior KUCHT-specific experience is required, as
full training will be provided . You will assist customers directly with troubleshooting appliances such as ranges, refrigerators, and other kitchen equipment, providing expert guidance and solutions
Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via phone in a professional manner.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics of appliances through live video calls.
- Guide customers step-by-step to diagnose appliance issues.
- Escalate complex cases to the technical or field team when needed.
- Document service cases accurately, including diagnostic steps and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to improve workflows and support resources.
- Identify recurring appliance issues and propose product or service improvements.
- Show initiative and take ownership of cases, with potential to grow into a leadership role.
Qualifications: - Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in customer service, technical support, or hands-on appliance/handy work is preferred.
- Basic technical knowledge or aptitude with appliances, electronics, or HVAC systems.
- Comfortable using video calls and digital tools, including Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with empathy and patience when assisting customers.
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team.
