AWS Infrastructure Cloud Engineer Must be working for the Veterans Affairs now and hold clearance and badge

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced AWS Infrastructure Cloud Engineer with a background in government cloud environments, specifically working with Veterans Affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud solutions to support critical federal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture & Implementation: Design and deploy scalable AWS cloud architectures tailored for Veterans Affairs, ensuring compliance with federal standards.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and optimization of AWS environments, focusing on GovCloud requirements.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions meet strict security and compliance mandates, including FISMA, NIST, and FedRAMP standards.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with internal teams, including IT and cybersecurity, to provide seamless cloud integration and support.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices for cloud efficiency, cost management, and scalability within the Veterans Affairs context.

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in AWS cloud services, with specific experience in GovCloud environments.
• Familiarity with federal compliance requirements (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working within or with government agencies, particularly the Department of Veterans Affairs, is highly desirable.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
