The Staff Pad is seeking reliable and safety-focused Bus Drivers to join a respected public school transportation team in the Argyle area. This role plays a vital part in ensuring students arrive safely and on time to school and extracurricular activities.

What You’ll Do Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes and schedules.
Transport students to and from school, field trips, and extracurricular events.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus safety and cleanliness.
Follow all traffic laws, safety policies, and transportation regulations.
Manage student behavior and maintain order while on the bus.
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and transportation personnel.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and assist students in evacuation if needed.
Maintain accurate route, mileage, and passenger reports.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old .
Valid Texas Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements required.
Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screening and annual physical exam.
Ability to complete required safety and certification training.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism.
No prior experience required—training provided for qualified candidates.

Ability to remain calm and maintain control in challenging situations.
A positive, service-oriented attitude toward students and staff.
Frequent exposure to varying weather conditions, vehicle fumes, and noise.
Requires prolonged sitting and regular driving.
