Full Time

The University of Iowa’s College of Dentistry is conducting a search for a full-time Clinical or Tenure-track Oral Radiologist Faculty in the Department of Oral Pathology, Radiology & Medicine. 

Major responsibilities: 

• Clinical and didactic teaching at the predoctoral and graduate student level;



• Participation in the collegiate faculty practice, to include interpretation of CBCT's; and



• Basic Science and/or translational research. 

• DDS/DMD or equivalent; and



• Master’s or Certificate from an advanced education program in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.   

Tenure-track applicants must also have a track record of protocol-driven research with potential for future grant support. 

Successful candidates will be required to self-disclose any misconduct history or pending research misconduct investigation including but not limited to sexual misconduct in prior employment and provide a related release and will be subject to a criminal background and credential check. 

HIGHLY Desirable qualifications: 

• Successful completion of CODA/CDAC-accredited advanced education program in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology; and



• Successful completion of Part 1 of the Board Certification Exam or Board Certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. 

Desirable qualifications: 

• Didactic and clinical/technical teaching experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the predoctoral and graduate student level; and



• Master’s degree in Oral Science, or equivalent.
