Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III- Firewall

Location: Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Trivandrum .  The role will be a hybrid

About the role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Firewall Senior Engineer to become part of our networking security team. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise firewall solutions to safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our network infrastructure. The preferred candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet firewalls.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer III you will

• Design and deploy firewall architectures across multiple platforms (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) to support enterprise security requirements.
• Design, implement, and manage enterprise routing and switching solutions.
• Manage firewall rule sets, NAT policies, VPN configurations, and threat prevention features.
• Monitor and analyze firewall logs and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents.
• Perform regular firewall audits and optimize configurations for performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure connectivity.
• Lead firewall upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation including network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in firewall engineering or network security.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ASA (including Firepower), Palo Alto NGFW (PAN-OS), and Fortinet FortiGate platforms.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with centralized management tools (e.g., Panorama, FortiManager).
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS, threat intelligence, and SIEM integration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, NSE4/NSE5.
• Experience in cloud firewall solutions (Azure Firewall, AWS Network Firewall).
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and micro-segmentation strategies.
