Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team at Wenger Construction. This role is within our commercial flat roofing division, where you will learn how to professionally install and repair roofing systems for commercial buildings.
Region of Work
- From East Central to Southeast Wisconsin Area. Majority of work will be in the East Central Area (Fox Vally, Green Bay, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan) with occasional work in the Southeast (West Bend, Milwaukee).
- Full Time in Wisconsin- No Relocation Package Offered
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- NO FLAT ROOFING EXPERIENCE NEEDED. This is an entry level position we are willing to train to right candidate
- Some construction experience – Preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
- Basic understanding of construction practices is a plus but not required
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in various construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and clean-up.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Learn and apply new skills related to construction flat roofing techniques and tools.
- Utilize hand and power tools to repair and replace roofing materials.
- Assist in heavy lifting and installation of roofing components.
