The Data Processing Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data within company systems and databases. This position plays a key role in supporting internal teams by ensuring that information is current, consistent, and properly formatted according to organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter, verify, and update information in digital databases and spreadsheets.
• Review incoming data for completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and correct errors using standard data validation techniques.
• Organize and categorize information to improve data accessibility and reporting.
• Generate and distribute regular data reports to relevant departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security protocols at all times.
• Communicate with team members to clarify or resolve data discrepancies.
• Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in data management or business administration is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with data entry software, spreadsheets, and common office applications (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently and coordinating with team members through digital communication tools.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with database systems or customer management software.
• Familiarity with data cleaning or reporting tools.
• Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role.
