Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join their dynamic clinical team at UH Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby, OH. This position will also involve employee nutrition wellness initiatives and may provide occasional back-up coverage at University Hospitals TriPoint Medical Center located in Painesville, OH . This position is open to new graduates and experienced dietitians.

Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

Three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year

What You'll Do

• Provide inpatient nutrition care
• Perform quality improvement tasks
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Responsible for managing the nutrition care process, including comprehensive nutrition assessments, determining nutrition diagnoses, and planning and implementing nutrition interventions
• Participate in the coordination of weekly nutritional education training for behavioral health.

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian credential and licensure in OH (or eligible)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
