Creative Surfaces, Inc is looking for a detail oriented Estimator in our Casework Division. This role will be responsible estimating projects from architect prints or concept drawings. Position offers competitive salary, paid time off, Insurance and 401k.

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Architectural Engineering OR a two-year post-high school diploma/certificate in Architectural Engineering/Design or related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in estimating casework or millwork, or other relevant experience in casework business.
• Ability to interpret architectural prints, sketches, notes, etc.. and complete accurate takeoffs and price estimates
• Must be able to communicate directly with sales, architects, interior designers or directly with customers to gain understanding, estimate project cost and document solutions and estimates
• Attention to detail needed to take a concept to a successful final project quickly and accurately.
• Self-motivated to work independently as well as effectively, work as part of a team.
• Organizational and time management ability to effectively manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Must be able to predict task time requirements and meet deadlines. As well as visualize product and conditions to foresee potential issues that may come down the road.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

• Construction process experience, (whether hands on or communicating).
• AutoCAD experience.
• Experience in casework/countertop industry.
