Job Description An employer sitting in Petaluma, CA is looking to hire a Flight Test Supervisor that will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of Flight Test and department personnel. He/She will be responsible for leading the flight test for a group 3 aircraft with vertical take off and landing (UAV) product. He/She will need an understanding of maintenance needs, recording all configurations through Agile, workflow processing through Jira, and developing test cards. This Supervisor will be leading a team of 6 flight test crew members and providing hands on work with flight validation and verification testing in the field. He/She will be responsible for understanding the flight terms, flying the asset and ensuring quality for customers. This position will require up to 80% of travel to flight test fields including (Petaluma, CA, Pendleton, OR, and Monterey Bay, CA) and the other 10-20% will be working remotely. Skills and Requirements - 5-10+ years of experience within Flight Test Engineering, specifically with UAV or manned aircrafts - Previous supervisory/management experience over flight test team - Experience developing test cards, flying the UAV, documenting flight test processes, and coordinating with team(s) for all verification flight testing needs - Understanding of maintenance systems, aviation tools, and interfacing with Jira for workflow processing and configuration management within Agile - High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree - Ability to travel as needed - Previous experience with UAS deployed operations/overseas work null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
