About The Family and Social Services Administration :
The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services manages the delivery of services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and has two overarching responsibilities: to facilitate partnerships that enhance the quality of life for children and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities; and to provide them with continuous, life-long support. The Bureau of Disabilies Services (BDS) within the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) oversees the home and community-based waivers that serve over 50,000 individuals with disabilities between four HCBS waivers.
Role Overview :
The HCBS Reporting/Policy Analyst serves as the subject matter expert on the HCBS waivers, provides support to the overall execution of the HCBS waivers, is responsible for ensuring documentation alignment, timely submission of required information to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), fulfilling documentation requests, monitoring and processing requests for records through the Access to Public Records Act (APRA), and ensuring compliance with DDRS and federal criteria as announcements, training materials, policy and procedure documents are developed. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of State and Federal laws, statutes, rules, and regulations which address services to individuals with disabilities, a desire to support persons with disabilities in a compassionate and respectful manner, and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders and adaptability to changes in policy.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
