Location Description:

Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center

• High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public.
• Currently 800 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites. Expanding to 1400 rooms early 2026!
• Three restaurants including a Starbucks.
• 105,000 square feet of meeting space - Ballrooms, Amphitheater and classrooms.
• Fitness Center, jogging trails and sports fields.
• All professional clientele. No weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social-type events.

Overview:

For students currently enrolled in a Hospitality Program at a college or university. This is a paid Summer Internship program that helps students gain work experience in the Hospitality Industry. While gaining work experience, s tudents will also have opportunities to shadow various departments of interest throughout the program.

• Positions offered for internships have starting pay rates of $17.75or more per hour.
• S tudent must be able to provide their own housing and transportation.

Program Details

• 8-10 week program where students can gain work experience in the Hospitality Industry.

• Students will work in one of the following positions: Event Set Up Attendant, Culinary, Server Banquet Server, or Barista.

• Shadow various departments of interest during internship. Departments include: Housekeeping, Front Office, Event Planning, Restaurants... and SO MUCH MORE!

• Participate in other opportunities such as classes or other intern team building activities.

• The Internship Program provides opportunity for full, or part-time employment post-internship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Hospitality Program at a college or university.

• Must be able to provide own transportation and housing.
