MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN HUMAN RESOURCES
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support the daily HR operations of a major beverage manufacturing facility in Walla Walla, WA.
Requirements for Human Resources Business Partner:
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in Human Resources, with proven experience in staffing and employee relations within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Demonstrated professional success in payroll administration and HR compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRIS/applicant tracking systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Washington State Labor Law.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to multi-task and adapt in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Prior roles such as HR Supervisor, HR Generalist, HR Manager, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or Employee Relations Specialist are a plus!

Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner:
• Oversee daily HR operations at the production facility, ensuring compliance with all policies and employment legislation.
• Offer expert support to plant management on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and workforce planning.
• Develop and implement employment standards to attract and retain top talent.
• Manage payroll preparation and ensure timely, accurate submission of all required documents.
• Conduct benefit enrollment education and serve as first point of contact for benefit-related questions.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors, including staffing and recruitment agencies, to maximize results.
• Deliver HR data and metrics for both standardized reports and special requests.
• Train supervisors/managers on HR systems and effective communication practices.
• Support and participate in workplace safety programs and committees.
• Maintain strict confidentiality with all employee records and sensitive information.
• Actively engage in community events to promote Refresco as an employer of choice.
