The Junior Paid Media Specialist will play a critical role in scaling the organizations digital advertising efforts across paid channels like Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, OTT/CTV, and more. You'll work closely with our Growth and Creative teams to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns that drive sales, awareness, and brand growth. This is an ideal position for someone eager to learn the full funnel of DTC media buying; from creative testing and audience segmentation to performance analysis and scaling.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Setup & Management
○ Assist in the creation, launch, and daily management of paid media campaigns across various paid social and paid search platforms.
○ Implement pixel tracking, conversion events, and proper attribution setup.
Creative & Audience Testing
○ Collaborate with the creative team to brief, test, and analyze ad variations (hooks, formats, thumbnails, copy).
○ Experiment with audiences, placements, and bid strategies to optimize for cost per acquisition (CPA/CAC) and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Data & Reporting
○ Monitor campaign performance in real time and compile weekly reports on key metrics (CTR, CPM, CPC, CPA/CAC, ROAS).
○ Identify insights and trends to recommend optimizations and new opportunities.
Budget Management
○ Track daily ad spend pacing to ensure campaigns stay within allocated budgets.
○ Support the Growth Team in building scaling strategies that maintain efficiency.
Collaboration & Learning
○ Work cross-functionally with Creative, Web/eCommerce, Operations, and other internal and external teams to align paid strategy with larger business objectives.
○ Stay current on emerging trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes across paid social and search.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
● 1 year of experience in digital marketing, preferably in paid media, performance marketing, or eCommerce.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
● Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (experience in TikTok, etc. a plus)
● Strong analytical skills; comfortable with data, metrics, and Excel/Google Sheets.
● Understanding of creative testing principles and audience targeting fundamentals.
● Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
● Passion for natural products, sustainability, or the DTC / CPG space is a bonus.
