Mortgage Loan Closer
Glacier Hills Credit Union
West Bend, WI
$22 - $27/hour

Job Summary
Supports the Mortgage Loan Officers by preparing, distributing, and completing all mortgage loan documentation, while tracking, completing, and following up on compliance for mortgage loans and answering member questions, and completes other various loan duties.  Will also handle Mortgage Closings for Glacier Hills Credit Union.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the Mortgage Loan Officers in a team environment to enable them to be as efficient as possible in obtaining new loan opportunities and to devoting a high percentage of their time in pursuing these opportunities.
  • Performs Appraisal Reviews and distributes copy to borrower.
  • Orders closing support documents and prepares closing packages.
  • Meets and performs closings with borrowers.
  • Coordinates and disburses mortgage loans.
  • Conducts initial compliance and tracks compliance documents.
Minimum Requirements
  • Knowledge equivalent to the completion of a High School diploma or equivalent; one to three years job related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Excellent at multi-tasking
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy on a consistent and repetitive basis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with employees, managers, and members.
  • Performs well in a team environment.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Proficient computer skills including, but not limited to: Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to easily learn other computer programs.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Indoor office environment
  • Medium keyboarding (intermittent, 2-5 hours per 8-hour shift)
  • Sitting
