Full-Time Nanny | New Canaan, CT Live-In (Private Suite w/ Own Entrance) Salary: $100K to $130K DOE

A warm, professional family newly relocated from the U.K. is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny fluent in English & Portuguese to care for their three children and support the household. Both parents work full-time, so flexibility—including occasional overnight coverage when both parents travel—is required.

The family also has a sweet, senior 12-year-old Havanese.

About the Children:

• Girl, 9 – Extroverted, curious, and fun-loving. She participates in golf, tennis, piano, and chess, and is fluent in Portuguese. Avid reader and singer, strong sense of style, and a caring big sister. Mild asthma.
• Boy, 7 – Funny, mellow, and full of energy. Loves rugby, flag football, Pokemon, and Indiana Jones. Gentle, affectionate, and thriving as a big brother. No medical conditions.
• Boy, 21 months – Curious, energetic, and joyful. Loves exploring, reading, riding his little bike, Paw Patrol, and throwing balls. Requires attentive care and engagement.

Position Responsibilities:

• Loving care, guidance, and supervision for all three children
• Laundry, homework support, and organization of children’s activities
• Light cooking for the children
• Meal planning and grocery shopping
• Light housekeeping (tidying, dishes, laundry, making beds)
• Driving children to school, activities, and appointments
• CPR/First Aid certified and experienced with toddlers
• Collaborating with other household staff (cleaning crew, landscapers)
• Occasional overnight coverage as needed

Requirements:

• Experience with toddlers and school-age children
• Proactive, organized, and reliable
• Pet-friendly (small dog in household)
• Comfortable in a household with multiple staff
• MUST BE FLUENT in English & Portuguese
