#### **Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **PHP Developer with expertise in WordPress** to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP programming and a deep understanding of the WordPress ecosystem, including theme and plugin development. You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom WordPress websites that are responsive, scalable, and optimized for performance.
#### **Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
* Build responsive and user-friendly websites based on design mockups or requirements.
* Integrate third-party APIs and troubleshoot integration issues.
* Optimize website performance and security.
* Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Stay updated with the latest web technologies, coding standards, and WordPress best practices.
* Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across WordPress sites.
#### **Requirements:**
* Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a focus on WordPress.
* Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, plugin development, and theme customization.
* Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (jQuery or vanilla JS), and REST APIs.
* Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
* Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
* Understanding of SEO, website performance optimization, and security best practices.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills and attention to detail.
#### **Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience with WooCommerce and custom e-commerce functionality.
* Familiarity with headless WordPress or JAMstack concepts.
* Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue) is a plus.
* Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
