This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Samsung Business Data Analyst in the United States.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a key role in turning complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to collect, model, and analyze large datasets, creating dashboards and reports that inform strategic decisions. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for business leaders. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes, optimize reporting, and support predictive analytics initiatives in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to monitor key business metrics.
• Manage regular data refreshes and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with program managers, IS teams, and client data providers to collect, clean, and analyze data.
• Establish KPIs to benchmark program performance and measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
• Provide actionable insights through data analysis, presenting findings in reports and client-facing presentations.
• Troubleshoot data flow issues, develop plans of action, and iterate solutions to improve program performance.
• Support cross-functional teams by identifying opportunities to enhance data-driven decisions and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Proficiency in Excel (including advanced functions and VLOOKUPS), Power BI or similar BI tools, Power Query, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with large datasets, data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to stakeholders.
• Team-oriented, self-starter, and adaptable to client-driven work environments.
• Preferred: Knowledge of GIS/mapping tools (ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, E-Spatial), coding in SQL, Python, or R, predictive analytics, and Alteryx for workflow automation.
