Detroit, Michigan

Hybrid onsite Tues, Wed and TH remote Mon/FRI

Long term contract with option to convert or extend

USC and GC only!

What I am looking for:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance
• Financial or Insurance experience
• AWS experience

A leading company in Detroit, Michigan is currently seeking a Scrum Master IV to join their dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to guide and coach Agile squads, utilizing your expertise in Scrum practices and AWS technologies to drive project success.

Responsibilities:

The Scrum Master IV will be responsible for:

• Leading and mentoring two Agile squads to foster continuous improvement.
• Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to communicate project goals.
• Managing onshore and offshore resources for effective integration.
• Utilizing AWS technologies to support project development and deployment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Proven experience in managing onshore/offshore resources.
• Strong knowledge of AWS hosted applications and AWS technologies.
• Experience in the Insurance Industry.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.

Desired Skills:

• Proficiency in Agile Methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Technical acumen for understanding project aspects.

Data analysis skills to drive decisions and improve processes.
