Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Waxahachie, TX facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team of production associates to achieve quality and efficiency goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and supervise production associates on assigned shifts.
• Monitor and improve daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Oversee production schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of goals.
• Enforce company policies regarding safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve processes.
• Ensure proper training, tools, and resources are provided to all team members.
• Maintain accurate time, attendance, and production records.
• Conduct performance reviews, recognize achievements, and address disciplinary issues when necessary.
• Support machine setups, adjustments, and minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure smooth shift handoffs and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality compliance standards
• Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work on a manufacturing floor with moderate to high noise levels
